Rafael Amezcua is a bilingual marketing professional and experienced moderator with almost two decades of experience in marketing, consumer research, and multicultural strategy. A native Spanish speaker from Mexico, Rafael brings deep cultural understanding and a strong ability to connect with Hispanic audiences.
Over the past ten years, Rafael has led and moderated focus groups for diverse organizations and companies targeting Hispanic, Multicultural, and Mainstream audiences. His approach focuses on creating a professional, comfortable, and authentic environment where people feel confident and heard, which helps uncover real insights that shape strategy, messaging, and campaign development. He is skilled at guiding conversations, asking the right follow-up questions, and turning qualitative feedback into clear, actionable recommendations.
Rafael holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations from La Salle University, an MBA degree from the University of Phoenix, and most recently, Rafael completed an Executive Advanced Marketing program at Wharton School, from the University of Pennsylvania.
Rafael’s background also includes experience in Consumer Insights, Innovation, Global and B2B Marketing Strategy and Planning, and Corporate Client Relations, giving him a well rounded perspective on both consumer behavior and business goals. His specialties include Hispanic marketing, analytics, media communications, and strategic implementation.
He is also an active member of the National Society of Hispanic MBAs, Toastmasters International, and the Arizona Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and is passionate about creating meaningful dialogue and driving culturally relevant work.
