Interning at Nativa has been an incredible journey, full of growth and learning. From the very beginning, I was equipped with all the tools I needed to succeed in my field of interest. This opportunity not only allowed me to develop my technical skills but also taught me the importance of independence and meeting deadlines.
My Work
As an intern, I had the exciting role of managing all of Nativa’s social media platforms. This included filming, directing, and editing engaging content such as Reels, TikToks, and posts on a consistent basis. Being at the forefront of creating digital content allowed me to blend creativity with strategy, a skill I’m proud to have honed during my time here. Working on projects individually gave me the confidence to manage my responsibilities effectively and sharpen my time-management abilities.
Projects and More
One of the highlights of my internship was the opportunity to work on larger, high-profile projects. These included collaborations with Brown-Forman (Jack Daniel’s), the American Red Cross, and Got2b. Each project presented its own set of challenges, but thanks to the guidance of my peers Gabriella, Britton and Josh, I was able to navigate these tasks successfully. Their mentorship was invaluable, providing me with the tools and support to grow as a marketing professional.
Out of all the projects I worked on, my favorite was definitely the Brown-Forman campaign. The tight deadlines required dedication, extensive research, and creative brainstorming. While challenging, the experience pushed me out of my comfort zone and truly tested my abilities. It was a rewarding experience that reinforced my passion for marketing and problem-solving.
Overall, my internship at Nativa has been nothing short of amazing. Beyond the professional growth, the sense of community within the office made this experience even more special. The supportive and welcoming environment made it easy for me to feel comfortable as a new intern, and I’m grateful to have been part of such a close-knit and inspiring team.
