My name is Lauren Kaminski, and I have had the wonderful opportunity to intern at Nativa since August. As someone passionate about marketing, this internship has not only helped me master essential tools and platforms but also provided me with hands-on experience in executing meaningful campaigns and projects.

Key Responsibilities and Achievements

During my time at Nativa, I quickly became familiar with essential marketing tools like HubSpot, Asana, Canva, and O.Y.E. Intelligence. These platforms became the backbone of my daily tasks, allowing me to manage and contribute to various projects effectively. One of my primary responsibilities was managing social media channels. I crafted engaging content and grew our social media engagement across platforms, ensuring our message reached a wider audience. Additionally, I wrote blogs that aligned with our marketing goals and captivated our audience’s interest.

Working on campaigns with clients such as the American Red Cross and Brown-Forman (Jack Daniel’s) was incredibly fulfilling. These experiences allowed me to see firsthand the impact of our work and the success of our strategies. My favorite event was the American Red Cross’s Hispanic Heritage Month event. Witnessing the impact of Nativa’s research and how it contributed to the event’s success was truly inspiring. Another highlight was working on photoshoot campaigns for Brown-Forman. I facilitated connections and coordinated logistic to help bring these campaigns to life, even meeting with directors at the Brewers and Dodgers to secure stadium venues.

Looking back, I am incredibly proud of the skills I’ve developed and the projects I’ve completed. This internship has been a platform for significant professional and personal growth. I’ve learned to adapt quickly to new challenges and environments, manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines successfully, and collaborate effectively with a talented team.

Acknowledgment

The best part of my internship has been the supportive and collaborative environment at Nativa. Everyone here, including Eric, Gabby, and Josh, has been eager to share their knowledge and insights, making this a truly enriching experience. Eric Diaz provided invaluable guidance and mentorship. Gabby offered incredible support and insights, while Josh was always willing to help with any questions.

I am immensely grateful for this opportunity and the development I’ve experienced at Nativa. This internship has equipped me with essential marketing skills and ignited a deeper passion for the field. I am excited to carry these experiences forward into the next steps of my marketing career.
