Let’s talk about cars. They get us from point A to B and so many people’s daily lives are entirely dependent upon them. Cars are extremely important parts of society, and as consumers, we have so many different options to choose from. So around the Nativa office, we can’t help but ask, “Are diverse consumers satisfied with top car brands?”
For this report, the O.Y.E. social listening tool was implemented to gather insights regarding which are the popular car brands that diverse consumers are driving. The car brands which were analyzed in this report are BMW, Chevrolet, Ford, Honda, Nissan, and Toyota. The diverse consumers driving the conversation discussed ideas such as support for their favorite car brand, asking opinions on a pending car choice, and sharing their opinion on someone else’s car.
This analysis was extrapolated from a data set of 302,262 conversations on Twitter, of which 96,697 were from verified U.S. Hispanics and 47,027 were from verified Black Americans. All data was gathered from 09/19/2020 – 10/19/2020. Check out the resources below, including a downloadable case study, videocast, and podcast.
