OVERVIEW

The Nativa team was assigned the task to trans-create BeBallotReady.vote English website to Spanish. The goal was to make the information accessible to Spanish
speaking consumers in a manner that was culturally relevant while maintaining BeBallotReady’s brand personality.

APPROACH

Nativa used marketing strategies and sophisticated online listening tools to closely
build BeBallotReady Hispanic market. Nativa is responsible for the BeBallotReady Latino website. Nativa first researched Spanish-language websites as well as websites from renowned Hispanic wesbites in an effort to identify the most common words used to describe voting terminology within the Latino political community.

RESULTS

Nativa trans-created the program documents in a manner that was culturally relevant to these Latino voters and would allow them to have the same
educational experience as the English-speaking general audience. The Nativa team ensured a high level of quality in the final production completed by having several teams of skilled translators and culturally relevant copywriters work on this project. Overall, the team successfully trans-created the materials needed which enables BeBallotReady to increase Hispanic voters significantly. This approach proved a much higher Hispanic voter turnout for the 2020 election.
