In response to Coconino County’s healthcare needs, Nativa undertook the development and execution of comprehensive marketing and advertising campaigns. Focused on adult and child vaccines, disease prevention, behavioral health, and enhancing Coconino County Health and Human Services (CCHHS) branding, our approach was centered on inclusivity and accuracy.

To engage with underreached populations, including those with disabilities and non-English speaking communities (Spanish, Navajo, Hopi), Nativa ensured our messaging across traditional and non-traditional mediums was sensitive, responsive, and culturally appropriate for racial and ethnic minority groups.

Nativa meticulously audited CCHHS’s surveys, branding guidelines, social media, and website, conducting extensive market research. This facilitated the identification of target populations, barriers, motivators, and a deeper understanding of Coconino County’s diverse population.

Crafting a comprehensive marketing strategy, Nativa collaborated closely with niche vendors such as the Navajo Hopi Observer, The Navajo Times, and radio stations in Coconino County such as KTNN and KQST. These vendors helped us establish close connections with our target audience. We also worked with bigger vendors such as Hulu, YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook to get our message out with a bigger audience. This involved establishing meaningful collaborations with them and cultivating lasting relationships to effectively reach and engage the target audience across traditional and non-traditional mediums.

Through the implemented strategy, CCHHS witnessed a significant impact, garnering 613,603 impressions within the first two months of the digital advertising campaign. Leveraging various mediums like printed flyers, newspapers, Navajo language radio ads, social media, and postcards, CCHHS experienced a notable boost in brand awareness. This effort solidified its position as a trusted institution among its audience, marking a successful campaign that resonated within the diverse Coconino County community.
