Charlotte Bregman

My name is Charlotte Bregman, and since January 2025, I’ve had the incredible opportunity to work as a Marketing Intern at Nativa Multicultural Communications. As a junior at Arizona State University studying Entrepreneurship and international business, this internship has been a pivotal part of my academic and professional journey. In just a few months, I’ve gained invaluable hands-on experience in digital marketing, social media management, campaign strategy, and influencer relations.

My Journey

Before diving into my internship at Nativa, I worked for a small, family-owned business in Tucson, where I handled in-house marketing. While I gained significant experience in executing marketing strategies personally, I was eager to see what it would be like to work at a larger scale, with a broader client base and a team of specialists. That’s when I found Nativa.

Most of my role at Nativa has been managing various social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Bluesky, X, Threads, and LinkedIn. I’ve researched new strategies for platforms like Bluesky and Threads, implementing content that resonates with each unique audience. I’ve had the chance to work on campaigns for clients like Got2b and Brown-Forman, researching and testing different messaging strategies to ensure maximum engagement. In addition to social media, I’ve also worked on more creative aspects of marketing. I created graphics for social media posts and the company website, which allowed me to apply my design skills to real-world projects. One of the most fun projects I worked on was a fake rebrand campaign for April Fools’ Day, where I designed a completely new logo and created content around the “rebranding” to engage our followers. This was a great opportunity to tap into my creativity and connect with our audience lightheartedly.

A Transformative Internship

Looking back, my time at Nativa has been nothing short of transformative. From working on high-level campaigns to executing creative ideas and building systems to track success, I’ve learned much about the marketing industry and myself. I came into this internship with a lot of enthusiasm and a desire to learn, and I’m leaving with a wealth of knowledge, new skills, and a clearer vision for my career.

I’m excited to share that moving forward, I’ll be stepping into the role of Marketing Design and Implementation Specialist at W.P. Carey’s Center for Entrepreneurship and New Business Design at Arizona State University. The skills and expertise I’ve gained during my internship at Nativa have directly shaped my ability to excel in this role. From creating innovative marketing strategies to managing diverse social media platforms, I’m confident that my experience at Nativa will enable me to contribute meaningfully to the Center’s initiatives, collaborate with students, faculty, and staff, and continue learning from the talented individuals I’ll be working with.

For anyone considering an internship at Nativa, I couldn’t recommend it more. The team at Nativa is not only incredibly talented but also supportive, and the projects you work on will challenge you to grow as both a marketer and a professional. I’m excited for what’s next in my career, and I know that my time at Nativa has set a solid foundation for my future endeavors.

Thank you, Nativa, for this unforgettable experience. I’m incredibly grateful for all the opportunities and learning moments along the way!
